Birthday Dopeness: Vanessa Simmons

Today, we're sending a special birthday shout out to Vanessa Simmons on her 27th birthday! The young co-owner of Pastry Kicks will be celebrating her birthday out in Los Angeles which is her current city of residence. Outside of the fall launch for Pastry, she's got some pretty big things coming up later in the year within her acting career. She recently played the character Elizabeth in the movie Speed Dating which also features Esther Baxter and just wrapped a new film, Boogie Town, directed by Chris Stokes. Boogie Town is a modern day Westside Story for the hip-hop generation and will be released later this year.
