The Best Costumes and Sights From Comic Con New York [PHOTOS]

Between October 8-10th, comic fanatics and animation aficionados gather at Jacob Javits center in New York for one of the biggest pop culture conventions nationwide.  The show consists of professionals and fans of graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and more.  

Various panels were scheduled for an intimate discussion with creators of audiences favorites like Adult Swim and creators of South Park, and even with R&B artist Ne-Yo.  Keep in mind, this convention must be paced like a marathon.  

The biggest bustle of the crowd was within the stalls where comic books and vendors brought in their newest and most novel products to share and sell directly to fans.  For those who need a break from the crowd, screenings of upcoming movies, shorts, and projects were being presented in another wing of the venue.  

On the lower levels, many rooms were dedicated to signing events where fans can meet their favorite writers/ performers/ behind the scenes heroes of pop culture as well as a speed-dating site for those who came to comic con to look for love.  

Although Halloween is weeks away, Comic Con attendees went full force on intricate and amazing costumes.
