Out in california and got 12 hours to spare? Why not head to the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills and check out James Franco's 12 hour remake of Gus Van Sant's coming of age film 'My Own Private Idaho' starring a young Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix.
Franco, in collaboration with Van Sant, used behind-the-scenes and deleted footage from the seminal 1991 film about struggling hustlers and renamed it 'Endless Idaho.' The film will run alongside eight works on paper made by Van Sant.
Also on view is another Franco film called 'My Own Private River,' a film with shots of River Phoenix scored by art school drop out and musician Michael Stipe.
