Now that the union workers of Wisconsin protest is in full swing against Republican Gov. Scott Walker and his proposed "budget repair bill," which would scale back public workers' benefits, as well as their collective bargaining rights. They are calling on one man who promised to protest with them if he had to and that man is President Barack Obama.
Back in November 03, 2007 in Spartanburg, SC in front of a huge audience, then Sen. Barack Obama, said, “And if American workers are being denied their right to organize when I'm in the White House, I will put on a comfortable pair of shoes and I will walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States.”
That time has come Mr. President, for yourself and Michelle to put on your favorite stomping shoes and head to Wisconsin. In fact, if you are having trouble picking out the right pair of shoes, we have a collection that will suit you guys perfectly.
