Denise Richards: Charlie Sheen’s Other Goddess (PHOTOS)

We’ve already been introduced to two of Charlie Sheen’s Goddesses. But we thought it was time we took a gander at one of Sheen’s originals, the strikingly beautiful and doe eyed Denise Richards, the mother of two of Sheen’s five children.

We first became aware of Richards way back in the 1990s when she made a cameo appearance in ‘Loaded Weapon 1.’ Six years later, she starred as Carmen Ibanez in Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven’s military sci-fi adventure ‘StrarShip Troopers.’ The film was adapted from the novel written by Robert Heinlein.

In ‘Troopers’ Richards’ Carmen kicked ass and was the girlfriend of Johnny Rico, a Mobile Infantry leader tasked with leading his team against interplanetary insects. Due to its social and political themes, the film caused controversy and it would prove to be one of many for the young actress and model from Mokena and Downers Grove, Illinois.

Our second most memorable encounter with Richards came in the teenage lesbian erotic thriller, ‘Wild Things.’ Richards starred alongside Neve Campbell and Bill Murray. The film was directed by John McNughton.

It was ‘The World is not Enough’ that placed Richards in the crosshairs of ridicule after she played Christmas Jones, a nuclear physicist opposite James Bond. The reviews were rough, but Richards looked awesome.

Richards would appear in several films in the early 2000s, mostly parodying herself as a sex symbol. Films she appeared in included  ‘Valentine,’ ‘Scary Movie 3’ and ‘Undercover Brother.’

And then she posed for Playboy. Five months after giving birth. Later, she posed semi nude for Jane magazine and Maxim listed her as number nine of the top 50 Sexiest Women in the world. 

Her reality show, ‘Denise Richards: It’s Complicated,’ which aired three years ago, would have probably done well if Sheen hadn’t asked his fans to boycott the show during their custody battle.
