When Lady Gaga tweeted that she would debut a new song as well as walk in the Thierry Mugler show during Paris Fashion Week, GlobalGrind knew we would see something special.

Gaga’s tweet left nothing to the imagination.
‘I’m making my debut as a runway model, walking in the MUGLER PARIS FASHIONSHOW 3/2. I directed the show music, previewing Government Hooker,’ her tweet read.
Seconds before making her runway debut, Gaga, backstage in Paris, said to Mugler’s creative director and Haus of Gaga Stylist Nicola Formichetti: ‘If I vomit on the stage, it will be good press.’ Before that, ‘You have no idea how much respect I have for you and for all the models, which is why I’m so fucking nervous.’
Mugler is a designer’s designer and stars are attracted to his formidable vision which, oftentimes, speak of the future and of possibilities. In his 40 year career, the designer, photographer, perfumer, artistic and video director, several times over, has re-imagined the female silhouette, marrying materials which are opposites: the soft with the hard, metal with fabric, metal with flesh, the masculine with the feminine. Superstars like Beyonce and Gaga have gravitated to him and rocked his fashions on tour, in videos and on streets while the world watched in awe of how they brought his creations to life, Gaga especially.
