TRUE STORY....I had the craziest experience this weekend while at a house party/ birthday party in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They were basically playing a lot of Reggae and dancehall music that I've never heard of before. But I enjoyed the energy and the beats. Then the DJ instructed the crowd to 'put dem lighters up'. And then he played ' I'll Be Missing You'. And then the DJ did a whole Biggie Smalls set. That's when I realized how much Biggie affected the world with his music and how influential Hip Hop music really is. No one knew that the guy who played 'D-Roc' in the movie was in the crowd or even cared. This was organic and sincere. It made me proud to be a Biggie fan and sad that he is no longer here. WHY ARE YOU PROUD TO BE A BIGGIE FAN?
