<p>ATL legends prepare for their first show in years06:00AM ET September 17, 2009Contributor : Hip Hop Blog Staff A Rocky Williform Company</p><p>If you live in Atlanta, you already have plans for this coming Saturday: You’re going to be at the Masquerade for Goodie Mob’s one-night-only reunion concert.</p><p>For those who can’t make the historic show, HHB homie Maurice Garland has put together a masterpiece over at Creative Loafing to describe the emotions and subtle intricacies behind Cee-lo, T-Mo, Khujo and Big Gipp getting back on the same stage.</p><p>T-Mo: “Awareness was higher [back then] than it is right now. We were nothing but a spinoff of Public Enemy and NWA mixed all in one; we followed them. There’s groups that followed us, too. We raised these groups that are out right now.”</p><p>Khujo: “On Soul Food we were humble. On Still Standing we were rebellious. With World Party, we came down to y'all's level.”</p>
