Although this can be just another joke, you know what they say- a picture says a thousand words. Jessica Simpson has joined the ban wagon with her new boy cut hair. Keri Hilson, Rihanna, and Ciara are just some of the few stars that have cut off their locks for a braver, funkier look.

Now, the tricky thing is, one of Jessica Simpson's best friends is her personal hair stylists-Ken Paves, who by the way tweeted out the shocking picture last night. . He does wonders with her hair so who knows if this new do is actually a wig? Either way the cut looks great on her and is very different from the Barbie/Farrah Fawcett styles shes had in the past. Yes, I must admit the picture made me do a double-take, but hey sometimes a girl needs a change.
