Today is the day! At 10 am Macy's around the country debuted Madonna's clothing line. The title of the line that every tween has been buzzing about...Material Girl. The original material girl, Madonna, has choosen to let the first 200 customers in line receive both a free t-shirt and a complimentary 10 dollars off gift card. But that's not all. Gossip Girls Taylor Momsen is set to do a performance at 5. Let the party begin!

The whole fashion industry perked up when they heard that Madonna would be doing a clothing line. Many wondered what the 'Material Girl' whose career has spanned nearly three decades would be designing. As we all set planted in our thoughts what we would love to see the 'Like A Virgin' star design, she made another announcement that would forever change the way celebrities design.

With intentions to reach a younger demographic, Madonna, also known as Madge, turned over the creative direction to her daughter and budding fashion icon Lourdes, who then chose 'Material Girl' as the brand's name and later hand picked Gossip Girls', Taylor Momsen as the face of the brand.
