With just a bit of confidence, a hint of charisma and a touch of capability, ANYONE can be sexy. You can be sexy. I can be sexy. And, as I learned on the eve of their potential union strike, the Doormen of New York City can be pretty darn sexy too. They even say the word 'sexy' sexy. After all the hype, NYC's 30,000 Doormen who were up for contract renewal didn't have to go on strike this time around. They had enough pride in themselves and each other to stand up and demand the proper credit & compensation for a job well done. That's sexy. It also paid off...literally. Both sides came to an agreement right before the strike was to go into effect, resulting in a 4-year contract, 10 % increase in wages, and no cuts to benefits. That's even sexier.
