I have many things in life to be thankful for but the most important thing is my daughter, Shaniece. Today she turns 17 years old and I'm so proud and honored to have been chosen to be her Mom.

I was a teen (17 to be exact) when I had Shaniece and it wasn't always easy but I committed myself early to raising a respectful and responsible young lady and I can proudly say my dreams are slowly becoming a reality. Shaniece is an honor student and preparing to go off to college next year! How exciting for her and for me! She's also a very caring and funny person and everyday she makes me smile.
