One of the hottest rappers in the game right now, an integral part of Young Money, Nicki Minaj's fake husband, a former television star and the 'best you ever had,' Drake turns 24 today! 

Drake has come a long way from playing Jimmy, a wheelchair-bound former high school basketball star on the hit Canadian T.V. show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.' 

Drake is kind of an anomaly in the hip-hop world: he's from Canada, his real name is Aubrey (!) and his mother is white and Jewish, making Drake one of the only Jewish rappers--that I know of. But I guess when you have Lil Wayne as your mentor and a voice as smooth as butter, it doesn't really matter how different your background may seem.
