I read your book "Do You" and it was therapy for me in what you wrote about and what I have been going through. I am publishing my book, I was on the bus to go and load my prepaid visa to pay for some of the expenses of my self-published book. I am a certified school counselor who was downsized. I stirred up the gifts that God has given me and within the next few weeks, I will be a published children's author.

ever notice that the rich ones don't mind paying all this money out they act like their kids are all that they are like everyone elses kids they cause problems and just because they are born with money makes them no better than my kids which i would pay out the butt allso if i had to so don't make it sound like your kids don't cause you problems every once in awhile too please !!!!!!!!!

Hey Russell, I love you man and you are such a great father!! All the dead beat dads should want to be like you when they grow up...seriously! But, why you swear so much man? Your daughters are getting older and I'm sure you don't want them to think that it's cool because daddy does it?!!!

I just wanted to say this is what a real man does for his family. It's not what you want to do it is a given because they are your seed. You made them to take the best care of them.



Also, I want to thank you Mr. Russel Simmons for your help, you came to my college one year and made a donation. I was short on money to purchase a class that I needed in order to graduate on time. The financial office told me don't worry because you had made a donation to the school to help the students and a portion of that money will help me to continue on with my classes. I felt so blessed that someone cared enough to help us out. I was able to purchase the books that was needed for that class. I will always be grateful for your help that year. I was able to graduate on time, because of your good gesture to reach out and help someone else.

I met you many moons ago,I am the beautiful Doctor from Africa,(smile) used to treat Rev.Ike,James Brown, Cameo,Swizz Beatz and Family etc.he was my best friend, mentor, and like a Father to me. I lost contact with him and feel bad that we did not hug,look into his eye/heart and laugh one more time. That's why you live fully and keep in touch. Also was James Brown's Doctor not when he died,also consulted with Micheal Jackson,he was so close to Mr.Brown,they talked on the phone most nights. I have been contacted by GQ Magazine and other media outlets,since I was the Doctor for a lot others in the industry. So they want me to give back scene details, I won't reveal any private stuff goes against my grain. Need a collaborative partner, you can give me some pointers, I was Doctor, spiritual healer/lifter, counselor,friend, etc I still see patients but on a smaller scale than before since I cut back on all the jetting around the world. I have not gone home to Africa since my mother died. My Dad, also a Doctor,died just before I graduated from Medical School,so I have not gone to Africa but will. My mother is from Ethiopia and my Father from Nigeria, I'm a product of the East and West of Africa....What harmonization of energy!
