Russell have to disagree "CELEBRITY" she was someone's arm candy. The interest? She is Bi-Sexual and she slept with Kanye! Why people google her? Hoping she spill some juicy gossip on Kanye. You dont see George Clooney"s ex-girlfriend all hyped up like Amber. Not dissing her she has an oppurtunity to take 15 minutes and try to make a life of it. It's great you want to mentor her and show her the way. But i'm pretty sure if she looked different, slept with only men, im sure the interst wouldn't be there. FOR EVERYONE EVEN KANYE! I disagree with you partially. I feel that they get both stepped on AND noticed. I know that they may not be treated the way that they should be, but they do get buzz. I don't even look at music videos and men's magazines, but thanks to others, I can name a few video vixens.

And whether she gets stepped on or not, she is STILL in a position where she can easily raise above higher than how others perceive her, or in a better position than most to get rich. If she started a blog tomorrow, it is guaranteed to get tons of traffic instantly because people know who she is. If she posted good content in her blog, she could make hundreds of dollars.

There are tons of ways that she can take this fame to her advantage, in ways that she can pursue her dreams without depending on anybody. I could give her a ton of ideas right now that I know would work.

I just think this whole relationship thing is just silly because right now, even in this bad economy, she's probably relaxing it out in a luxurious loft/hotel/house/or what have you, without a care in the world. She could break up with Kanye tomorrow and still be straight because people knows who she is and she has connects. I mean, come on. She already has you as an advisor.

Let me rephrase something. Amber DOES deserve a little help. Everybody does. She shouldn't have to struggle her way through life.

What I'm getting at is that she isn't using her advantage on something more positive as of right now yet, she seems to be the main focus. Why? It seems like we are always helping the superficial get ahead and make a bigger platform to go off of.

I guess people are basically worthless until they become celebrities. Whether it be due to becoming one off talent, from sleeping with a rapper, or generating buzz from some negative conflict.

What kind of women do most rappers go after, when it isn't women who are already celebrities and making a good living for themselves? Do they go after a woman with dreams that doesn't consist of exploiting herself? Do they land a woman that actually has a talent that can better the world? Do they go after a woman who won't use a rapper's money to spend it on ridiculous things like $10,000 dresses and a $5,000 pair of shoes? No, they don't.

Instead, they go after women who don't do anything more than flaunt her goods and spend a rapper's money up on things that mean NOTHING. They go after women who want to get wifed-up and maybe even knocked up, in hopes to have a life of luxury for the rest of their material lives.

I have a friend who loves to make furniture. She has two college degrees and wishes she had enough money for grad school. She would love to start her own furniture business one day and give away some of the money made from it to people in need. If she was fast enough to hook up with a rapper, you better believe that she'd have her own furniture company within the next year.

I know another woman in New York where you live, Russell. When we have our phone conversations on what we would do with money if we were rich, all she talks about is starting a non-profit organization for troubled teenage girls, giving them a place to seek refuge and learn self-love. If she decided to go rapper-hunting, you better believe that that non-profit organization would be up and running before she died.

I'm a struggling visual artist. Gosh, I tell you. Every time I walk out, some random guy tries to holler. Maybe I should start going where the rappers hang out. It's guaranteed that I'll land one without trying. I could use some money for this business dream that I'm trying to pursue. Then again, I have morals.

A way to make a positive impact on the world, right? Don't get me wrong...nobody's perfect. And this isn't to say that she won't take her fame and make something positive out of it. However, she's not doing it right now. Until then, why is this even a discussion? If only you knew the type of difference you could make if you made more meaningful positive posts (like many of the others that you've done) other than this superficial BS.

Instead, women like Amber Rose get ahead, while the women with actual talent's dreams die out for not getting enough exposure. No wonder why there's little girls aspiring to be video girls, or gold-diggers in hopes to land a rapper. (You're guaranteed to get recognized more that way.)

Anything is a gift or a curse depending on how you use it. i live in the Bronx and see a lot of beautiful big butt girls taking their big butts to work. I’m sorry but the excuse of why she is and is not famous is in general not good enough for me. She is useless towards society and could care less about her alleged problems. For one I think she put herself in this so called setting. Once you associate with rappers your name and reputation will never be the same. Most Black men/rappers are incredibly insecure and base their manhood on their perceived sexual prowess.
