Philadelphia’s designated urban retailer, VILLA, turns 20 this year and had brought in Brooklyn’s finest, Jay-Z, Udi from Training Camp NYC and graffiti artist, Stash, to produce a commemorative Americana Boot. The limited edition Americana Boot is produced in full grain, oil tanned, Bison leather upper and paired with crisp white crepe soles. These hi-top boots are handmade to last with Goodyear welt construction at Cove Shoe Company of Martinsburg, PA. The boots are classically American work boots with a sleeker update with white soles and a large pixelated “R+” logo on the tongue.
Another note worthy aspect of the shoe is the box it is housed in– VILLA had enlisted the help of Stash, who had previously worked with brands such as Nike, Burton-Gravis and BAPE, to handcraft every shoebox with a special 20th Anniversary message from VILLA. These boots will be US exclusive at VILLA and they come in a limited run of 54 at $200 a pop with black and brown to choose from. The Americana is due to drop Sep 15, so be sure to check back with VILLA then to secure yours.
