A marketing company in the Republic of Angola have given America's favorite family a cultural makeover. "The Simpsons" are headed to the African market and to mark the occasion, Homer, Bart, Lisa and Marge have been given brown skin instead of their traditional yellow color.

The agency says the move gives the Simpson a look which makes it easier for the typical Angolan family to identify with. In addition to the skin color being changed, Marge has been given a black Afro hairstyle while Lisa has been given braids. The family also appears in the image dressed in traditional African garbs and sandals.

"The Simpsons," will be shown on Africa's digital satellite television service DSTV, but the dramatic cultural changes won't be seen. The family will appear on the show as normal.
