Wale is an American hip hop artist. He rose to prominence in 2006, when his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" became popular in D.C. Wale has released five widely recognized mixtapes. His first full length album, Attention Deficit , was released on November 10, 2009.

Drake is a Canadian actor and recording artist. He originally became known for playing character "Jimmy" on the TV series Degrassi. Drake continued to recognize a close affiliation with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, before officially signing with the record label in June 2009. His first studio album, Thank Me Later, is expected to be released on the label in 2010.

3. J. Cole

J.Cole is an American hip hop artist and producer. He is best known for being the first artist to be signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation.

4. Cory Gunz

Cory Gunz is an American rapper, the son of rapper Peter Gunz. He is currently signed to Militia/After Platinum Records . He is a native of the Bronx. He was first signed to Tommy Mottola at Universal/Motown. Later on, Jay-Z shepherded him into a joint venture through Island Def Jam Music Group. He also contributed a verse to the original version of Lil Wayne's A Milli before it was replaced with new verses by Wayne for the album version.

Nipsey Hussle is an African American rapper from South Central, L.A. currently signed to Epic Records. He is a part of The Slauson Boys featuring J. Stone, Robin Hood, Cobby Supreme, T. Draws and Goldie. He has also released his own solo mixtape album produced by DJ Felli Fel. Nipsey has had several collaborations with The Game, Yung Berg and Sean Kingston. His first major studio album, "Rich Rollin" is due out mid 2009.
