Blending your songs into one another is very important as a dj One thing that I do all the time is practice with turntables, including CDJ's that are not top of the line. Many times as a DJ, you may be called to do a gig out of town, but during your gig, your computer that you use for your set breaks down, and you don't have a backup, outside of some outdated CDJ's.
