3rd ANNUAL BET HONORS

The 3rd Annual Bet Honors commenced in Washington DC this weekend to honor the contributions of WHITNEY HOUSTON, SEAN COMBS and QUEEN LATIFAH. The evening’s ceremonies were hosted by the beautiful GABRIELLE UNION and live performances from STEVIE WONDER, INDIA ARIE, JAZMINE SULLIVAN, TREY SONGZ and JENNIFER HUDSON were enjoyed.

Everyone, including QUEEN LATIFAH, was running high on emotions of gratitude and joy. JENNIFER HUDSON sang the classic I Will Always Love You to honor the incomparable WHITNEY HOUSTON.

Deborah Lee made it clear that BET will contribute to the relief of Haitian Earthquake victims. “Before this disaster, BET Networks, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, was set to donate thirty thousand dollars every month for a year to an organization that has dedicated itself to working towards a brighter future for the African American community. In light of the devastation in Haiti, BET plans to donate the first grant to immediate emergency relief in Haiti.”
