DJ's like Z-trip and blogs like Hood Internet have been playing match-maker between hip-hop and the rest of the music world, bringing together unlikely tracks and crowds. 

Danger Mouse's Grey Album (a mash up of The Beatles' White Album and Jay-Z's The Black Album) was only the beginning for this new breed of spinners/ music nerds who execute their styles like collage artists.  Jay-Z + Radiohead = Jaydiohead, Beatles + Beastie Boys = Beastles.  Our favorite beats, licks and rhymes get face-lifts in collaboration with artists from various genres.  Reincarnated in attention-deficit friendly form, here's a round-up of 10 mashed up tracks for the summer.  You tell us if these collaborations are headed for more future hook-ups or if the original versions are too classic to be meddled with.
