Diggin' Up The Roots in Prospect Park

Fresh, jazzy beats as well as moisture filled the air yesterday evening at Park Slope’s Prospect Park. This very well-attended Celebrate Brooklyn! event was hosted by Brooklyn native Talib Kweli and welcomed some of the biggest names in Hip Hop for decades. Thousands upon thousands of people piled into the Prospect Park Bandshell yearning to hear the eclectic beats of The Roots as well as many other artists who performed that evening and to celebrate the end of the World Cup.
