Will the Real Lady Gaga Please Stand Up

The reign of Lady Gaga continues as she’s racked up 13 MTV Video Music Awards nominations and dons the cover Vanity Fair next month. She’s created a fan base of 'little monsters' who put their 'paws' up for her any chance they get. With over a million albums sold and a crazy outfit to match each of them, Gaga is like no one else in the music industry. Try to describe Lady Gaga in one word, and you probably can’t. But as a fan, sometimes I want to see more of Stefani Germanotta (her birthname) and less of Lady Gaga.

The song that inspired her name, Radio Ga Ga by Queen, describes what I'm trying to say. 'Like all good things on you we depend. So stick around cause we might miss you. When we grow tired of all this visual. You had your time you had the power”. Though the song is referring to the growth of radio at the time, sometimes I feel like this about Gaga. She has so much potential but it's hard for me to get past the red lace costume sometimes.
