Cee-Lo Green's history in music runs deep, and so, with his elder statesman status, there's a privilege in talking to him. He has stories; the kind of stories fans want to hear. As a member of the legendary southern rap group Goodie Mob and the much larger Dungeon Family collective — a collective of rappers, singers, and producers that included the likes of OutKast and the hitmaking production team Organized Noize — Cee-Lo's legacy was long established before he broke off on his own.

But since he has made the successful transition from group member to solo star, Cee-Lo Green has only added to his wildly successful and entertaining career, collaborating with a whole host of artists in a wide range of genres. As of recently, the first true rapper/singer has been on a collaboration tear as well as releasing his own music. In June, Cee-Lo Green released his Stray Bullets mixtape (pictured below), a collection of original songs which didn't make the cut on his upcoming album, The Lady Killer.
In an exclusive interview with GlobalGrind, Cee-Lo did what any rap fan would want him to do: speak on some of his latest work and collaborations and for old time's sake, we also asked him about a guest appearance on a little known cut from back in the late 1990's. Go to the next pages to see what Cee-Lo had to say about working with some of our favorite artists.
