Breaking barriers culturally, the pop group Far East Movement is coming full force onto the music scene and leading the way for Asian Americans in the music industry.

Far East Movement, also known as FM, is composed of four Cali natives Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman, who all but one, were high school buddies. Their music can be described as a mix between hip-hop, club, dance, pop, and a new emerging genre people like to call electro-hop (cross between hip-hop and electronica).
