FRONT ROW: Bruno Mars Drops A Grenade On SNL (VIDEO)

Posted October 10, 2010 by admin for Global Grind Staff

Bruno Mars performed on Saturday Night Live last night and showed off his skill for singing and songwriting.  He appeared on stage with a Janelle Monae-esque coif and purple suit, singing his #1 Billboard single, 'Just the Way You Are”.

This time Mars slowed the tune down just a little so that fans could savor each note that he delivered flawlessly.  The addition of harmonies and the live sound from the band made the performance something to remember.

Next, Mars launched into a slow version of his hit collaboration with B.o.B. Nothin On You that served as an intro for Grenade. Grenade, the second single from Bruno’s debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, was released October 5th.

He performed Grenade as if he was reliving the inspiration for this song right on stage. Two solid performances for this vetted songwriter and new artist.  We smell multiple Grammy’s for Bruno Mars this year!
