Kanye West vs. Walmart vs. Albums That Should Have Been Banned

Posted October 19, 2010 by admin for Global Grind Staff

Kanye West has continued his Twitter rant about his alleged banned cover artwork in the US, stating: 'So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can't have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings.'

In one of his previous tweets, Kanye slightly pointed his finger towards Walmart for the ban. 'In all honesty ... I really don't be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers !' said the tweet.

Walmart is well known for its conservative ways and many musicians have been known for making compromises to their product to appease the Walmart giants and their family friendly environment. I'm not sure whose family that would be though.

Apparently, they're not at fault this time and a Walmart spokesperson said, “We’re excited about Kanye West’s new album and we look forward to carrying it in our stores on November 22nd.'
