In today's music scene the producer is the big draw. 'Super-Producers' like Dr. Dre and Pharell are bigger stars than most emcees, and have managed to parlay the notoriety they gained as producers into other business ventures. There are always a gang of new producers bubbling under, waiting on that one hit to take them to mega-producer status.
