I'M TAKING OVER ASIA...

What up GlobalGrind. I'm excited to join the community. I'm writing from my hotel room in Milan, Italy. I'm truly on my global grind right now. I'm in the middle of a 50-day overseas trip that's taken me to Dubai and all over western Europe (including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, the UK and Italy). We've had some great highlights already, including a cameo by Kanye West at my Paris show during Fashion Week. The crowd went bananas of course.

I'm headed to Asia next. I'm going to some cities and countries I've never seen before. I'll be in the Philippines, South Korea and mainland China for the first time in my career. Plus I'll return to Japan, where I've been quite a few times. I really want to be big in Asia. It's the most populated continent in the world and so much growth is coming from places like China and India. No reason we can't make some of those billions of people into JL fans!

Peace, don't know if you will read this, but hey it is worth the try. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the quality of music you put out. I saw you at the New Orleans Jazz Fest a year or so ago. You put it down. Ordinary People and Slow Dance are some of the few classics you have. God bless

I too must comment on the open letter to the NY Post. It was refreshing to see a main stream artist take a stand, I loved it.

Kudos to you John for that letter you wrote to the NY Post in response to the racist cartoon they published. It was so refreshing to see and artist/celebrity stand on a soap box and express themselves with class and grace. Hopefully, other artists/celebrities will follow in your footsteps and stand up for what is right.

I saw you in Denver, In New York, In DC twice and you have truly become a great entertainer. Tell your hip swinging girls that I think they make you sound better, especially the chocolate one, she can croon too.

Heyt John I have all your album but the last one "Evolver" is the best one so far for me I really love it . It show your grow in writing and vocal. I love every song but i am really upset that you never add "you can't be my lover" with Buju Banton. I hope you come to Toronto so i can see you. LIve Love Life
