<p>UPDATE: Lil Wayne’s jail sentence has been postponed until March 2nd, 2010. According to reports, Wayne’s lawyer requested the judge give her client more time for dental work.</p><p>It ain’t prison. It’s jail. Let’s get it straight, alright? After being sentenced to 12 months in the NYC jail system as part of his plea agreement, Lil Wayne, most affectionately known as Weezy, is expected to immediately begin fulfilling his sentence – pre-prepped for a little life on the inside.</p><p>(In the midst of pushing this to cyber-publish, the court announced that they’re delaying Wayne’s sentencing to early March, so he can complete a process of dental surgeries – seriously, dental surgeries…Regardless…)</p><p>Yes, Cash Money Records is relocating to New York for the duration of his incarceration, allowing state resident Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. to keep laying down beats and rhymes while he serves his time, via iPod, pen and paper. Yes, Rolling Stone made him their most recent cover boy, glorifying his last hours of freedom in the year 2010. Yes, Lil Wayne plans to keep things rolling from the inside, you know, throwing out a few tweets from the library, probably eating better than my family, increasing brand recognition and thus increasing monetary wealth while the public pays for the maintenance and overall cost of his stay.</p>
