The North Carolina woman who was charged with human trafficking of her five year old daughter that went missing and was murdered is out of prison. A spokesperson for the Cumberland County Sheriff's office, Debbie Tanna, confirmed Wednesday (Feb. 24) that Antoinette Davis was released on Sunday evening (Feb. 20) on $51,000 bond.
Antoinette's charges include trafficking her daughter, child abuse involving prostitution, and filing a false police report. Her daughter Shaniya was found dead several days after she had disappeared in November.
A man, Mario McNeill has been charged with Shaniya's murder, kidnapping, and rape. According to a search warrant, McNeill picked up the little firl in front of her house and drove to a hotel where she was last seen alive.
