Sources have told GlobalGrind, that there was a shooting last night at Fabolous' party in Queens and the victim was Gregory Brown aka GBaby, who is a Brooklyn MC. There are not many details about how it happened or who was the other party involved, but we will be reporting any news that we hear, as soon as we hear it.

There has been a wave of violence in Jamaica and Hollis, Queens and the surrounding areas, as many young people have been killed in the past few years. Kevin Miller, a thirteen year old, was killed in October, when he was walking home from school and shot in the back of the head, from a stray bullet.

The situation seems to be getting worse, as tensions in the community rise. Russell Simmons recently funded a pilot program, called Peacekeepers, which will begin in the coming weeks.

I dont ever see the violence stopping in the hood. Every politician, or whoever can try to stop it.. But you have a very slim chance. And you wanna know why? Because u cant control peoples anger. Some people are just born with these negative traits, and are naturally evil people. How do you stop that?

This is my first time hearing of this artist. If i had to judge what kind of person he mustve been based of this video. He appears to be a bit of an aggressor and outspoken dude. Dudes like that have to be careful; cus they can run into alot of drama on the streets. Everyone wants to have the most respect on the streets, and in the game. And that can lead to alot of conflicts. Who knows why he mightve been shot. It just puzzles me.

God rest his soul though.
