The Nation Rallies For Immigration Reform (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, all across America, thousands of people took to the streets to rally in favor of Immigration Reform.  Pissed off by the law in Arizona that was recently passed that allows for polic officers to stop anyone on the street and ask for their legal papers, people across this nation marched to the beats of Salsa, Bachata, African, Asian, American Indian, Mariachi beats.

'I want to thank the governor of Arizona because she's awakened a sleeping giant,' said labor organizer John Delgado, who attended a rally in New York where authorities estimated 6,500 gathered.

In  Los Angeles, where police said there was 50,000 people, Cuban-American singer, Gloria Estefan kicked kicked off the rally, speaking in Spanish and English.

'We're good people, we've given a lot tothis country. This country has given a lot to us.'

Colombian born actress and director, Paola Mendoza (who joined the NYC march), whose new film, Entre Nos, which tells the tale of an immigrant mother arriving in the United States, opens in theaters in March, made a special PSA in support of immigration reform.
