RAW VIDEO EYEWITNESS UT shooting witness

The lockdown on the University of Texas campus has been lifted, though police are still investigating a shooting at the Perry-Castaneda Library on the university's campus.

A gunman opened fire Tuesday morning inside the campus library, then shot and killed himself. Police are seeking a possible second suspect.

UT police spokesperson Rhonda Weldon says no one else was injured. EMS confirms they have treated no one for injuries related to this incident.

An emergency alert warning of an 'active shooter' and 'shelter in place' was listed on the UT website more than an hour after the gunfire happened on the sixth floor of the Perry-Castaneda Library.
