Presidents Day Special: Mount Rushmore Gets Photo Chopped And Screwed (PHOTOS)

Posted February 21, 2011 by admin for Global Grind Staff

Today we observe George Washington's birthday, otherwise known as President’s day. It’s a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of the first President of the United States.

That brings us to Mount Rushmore, located in Keystone, South Dakota. The national memorial sculptures of former United States presidents (in order from left to right) George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The entire memorial covers 1,278.45 acres and is 5,725 feet above sea level. Sculpted by Gutzon Borglum, and later by his son Lincoln Borglum, the monument reminds us of the history of America spanning several presidencies.

But like most things in America, no matter how sacred, there's always room for parody. So to have some fun on this President’s day, we bring you Mount Rushmore—Photo chopped and screwed.
