  • It's time for Black people to begin to protect their own community, again. Any threats - internal or external - to our safety and peace need to be eradicated.
This includes rogue police officers, dope dealers, stick-up kids, pedophiles, and any other generic, run-of-the mill scum.
Our community is kind of like an Escalade. If you never clean and maintain it, dust and dirt gather and the car will begin to fall apart, slowly but surely. Recognized as neglected, people will believed they can sit on it, scratch it up, and urinate on it with impunity. However, that same Escalade, finely tuned, polished and sitting on Armourized 22s and chrome rims is a thing of beauty! People know, "I'd better not sit on this". They know the car is cared for and IF they damage the car someone might come out and bus' a cap in that azzizzle!
It's time to get out the shammy cloths, soap, Turtle Wax and Armour All and clean our whip. And for those that STILL won't respect our sh*t, they MUST be dealt with - in the language they understand. We must protect ourselves from all offenders that present a clear & present danger to our safety and welfare: our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
    POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!
  • The media (MSM) never wants to present a solution. They just run their script, which Blackspot nailed, for nearly everything major story.
  • I completely agree, Spot. NY1 was working the aerial shots this morning, and they were definitely scanning the crowd for a bit of hot black on cop action. This kind of coverage serves 2 purposes, though. First, violence of any kind boosts news ratings like Viagra boosts old men, plain and simple. People (as a whole) have a sick fascination with watching one another at our worst. Second, this kind of violence specifically serves to alleviate the collective consciences of many of the viewers. You see, all of those people out there that were secretly rooting for those cops to get off scott-free now feel justified. "Look at how they reacted to the verdict," they'll say. "What choice did the officers have when dealing with people like THAT," they'll say. You see, violence on the news (especially violence like this) makes stations rich and viewers feel better about themselves. It is just good for everyone...

...Except of course the huge segment of society who are time and again cast in a negative light and misrepresented, and all of the stereotypes that are kept alive by fires fueled almost exclusively by this sort of fodder.
  • The media is always looking for a riot.
