Dear Racist Republicans,
To whom it may concern, I am not a monkey, I am a man, I don't like watermelon, I love fried chicken, but it does not define me or my people. I am so much more than that. I'm sick of all these racist jokes, racist emails, and all of the other crap that has emerged from the Republican party since Obama started his run for president.
A lot of my fellow Black people shrug it off, as what do you expect, but I can't. I will not tolerate this nonsense from allegedly responsible adults. Adults who were elected to office by the people of this country and I refuse to believe that we are a nation of racist. I don't buy into the logic that I'm being called a N*gger by every white person in America. Sure there are some closet racist, but the majority of the people are not that bad, in opinion... or are they?
Not only should Blacks be offended by all this racism, but whites as well. Because just like the ignorance of my African American brothers and sister reflects on me, there racism reflects on every white person who fails to take a stand, or speak out, or say that a Black is over reacting, or it was just a bad joke. NO IT'S NOT. In the latest "Oh I didn't know this was racist" slip
The mayor of Los Alamitos is coming under fire for an e-mail he sent out that depicts the White House lawn planted with watermelons, under the title "No Easter egg hunt this year."
Local businesswoman and city volunteer Keyanus Price, who is black, said Tuesday she received the e-mail from Mayor Dean Grose's personal account on Sunday and wants a public apology.
"I have had plenty of my share of chicken and watermelon and all those kinds of jokes," Price told The Associated Press. "I honestly don't even understand where he was coming from, sending this to me. As a black person receiving something like this from the city-freakin'-mayor—come on."
The Orange County Register first reported the e-mail on its Web site Tuesday night.
Grose confirmed to the AP that he sent the e-mail to Price and said he didn't mean to offend her. He said he was unaware of the racial stereotype that black people like watermelons.

Can I challenge you to a dialog, am I over reacting? I believe we should use this as a way to take a stand and send a loud and clear message that we are not going to take another racist email, cartoon, comment, etc lightly. This has go on for far too long, and it's time for these racist bastards to grow up!
