Details of the deal, first reported by ESPN, are unclear at this time, although ESPN’s Adam Schefter is now reporting that the Browns will get linebacker Jason Trusnik, a standout special teams player, and draft picks in return for Edwards.  Just prior to that report, in a tweet posted by FoxSports.com’s Jay Glazer, the Browns were to receive Trusnik and wide receiver Chansi Stuckey in the deal.

Mangini coached the Jets the three seasons prior to coming to the Browns. On draft day, he traded the Browns’ first pick to the Jets for three players and two draft choices. The Jets used the No. 5 overall draft pick on quarterback Mark Sanchez.
