Rap star Soulja Boy was arrested in Georgia Wednesday night after authorities say he ran from a police officer. According to a police spokesperson, an officer went to check out what was believed to be an abandoned house in the Henry County area, after he was told there were a bunch of people hanging out in the backyard.Cops say when the officer rolled up to the home, he saw some women walking towards the yard and asked them to stop...

Look, Soulja Boy might not be lyrical, well... Soulja Boy is NOT lyrical, but he's got catchy hooks, with a dance, and that's what n*ggas at clubs want, some they can dance to... Me personally, dont like his sh*t, but the same sh*t thats happening now to Rap/HipHop has already happened to rock n roll, from the Beatles to the rock they have now, has changed dramatically... Its all about change... People don't like, but with time accept it...
I'm not saying I want this sh*t to continue, I hope he's the last of his kind that will ever come out to the public ear...
If he's "HOT" its for a reason, because that's what "people" want to hear...
Don't hate on the n*gga, give that n*gga props for being different with it...

Yall please stop saying things like " running from the police is in the black mans culture", no it is not. Those type of comments leads people to believe that black culture is as ignorant as the media makes us out to be. We may need to learn more about real "black culture" before we start labeling things "black culture". Thats misplaced identitiy is one of the 1000's of issues facing the "black community". Also, no all 19 year olds are not dumb and not responsible. That stigma also attempts to justify irrational behavior from our teen. Yes he still has allot to learn and yes teens do make dumb mistakes (as I do as a 27 year old) but that still doesnt justify stupid decision making...

Soulja boy u got arrested man don't even worry about it, i ran from the police a couple times, its apart of the culture, the community, but uh shoot man why didn't u add me as a friend on Myspace dat low key hurt, i thought we were like dis, n i thought maybe because Hurrican Chris n u kind of burst on the scene together so when I added Chris b4 u, it was like a rivarly untold, n u didn't want to be in the same connection with Hurricane chris is this true?

I am so disgusted at the black sites that keep posting this story. Even more disgusted at the people making the dumb ass comments about him being stupid etc. NEWSFLASH: He is barely 19, he is stupid, just like every other teenager is. Why Why Why?! Our first Black President just won a Nobel Peace Prize. Can we make a little more noise about that?!! Stop it please! I don't kno where you all are from but most 19 black guys I know run when the police come too.

- I feel you on that, but he still need to take some responsibility for his actions!! Yeah he's 19, but he is 19 with money...A lot of it!! So if he wanted to party, why not the club, or hell, his house!! I know he was probably trying to seem real and down with his fans, but when the cops come, you don't run!! He didn't commit any crime, and the most that cop would've done was say party over everyone go home, like any cop would when thay show up to a party and they are outnumbered 40 to 1!!
  
  We want to give young talented stars passes when they mess up. But the truth of the matter is, eventhough they are young, and we shouldn't be so hard on them, they also have to take into account that they are in a position that only a selct few, young or old, would ever be in!! Because of that position they have to hold themselve up to a higher standard, It may be hard and might suck at times. But hey thats the price of fame!! Whats more important, being in a position where you can take care of the ones who care about as well as invest in a solid future for you and your kids, or make it to some abandoned house party like you did back in high school!!??
