Two years after budding MC Shyne was sentenced to a decade in prison for the 1999 New York nightclub shooting that seriously injured two victims, he was dropped from Bad Boy by the man who escaped a guilty verdict in the case: Sean Combs. Shyne has since spoken out against Diddy, saying his former mentor betrayed him during the trial by hiring lawyers who didn’t work to their full potential and supporting the testimony of witnesses Shyne believes weren’t telling the truth (Diddy has denied these claims).

So when the Daily News quoted Diddy as recently telling Hot 97 he had spoken to Shyne who was “in good spirits,” the now 30-year-old rapper was shocked. “I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’ imagination,” he says in a statement. “He never spoke with me..."

Damn Diddy, You do need to get at those victims and offer them something. But that would be a legal issue, wouldnt it? Either way, you screwed up this man's life for 8 years, i remember when Shyne first went in, I was so pissed cus he so talented and Diddy just flew like a bird,. Diddy is about Diddy he don`t care for nobody but himself.Everything Diddy do is for himself look at the label nobody benefit from being on his label but him that sad.The trak record Tha band, Mase, and dream, Mack, 112, Harlem world,Usher and the list goes on and a lot of those artist are now on some other label Danity Kane bought them out for what did 2 album and gone.Really he my had hot artists but at the end Diddy is for self you may be sign to the label but really on the self if needed thank god I`m not a singer at least I know not to go Diddy label.Shyne I hope when you come out that you take the time to enjoy your freedom and family and real friends.

I can never forgive Diddy for leaving Shyne out to dry like he did.

- I agree......Diddy did not tell that man to start shooting in the club. Diddy owes him nothing! He made that decision on his own. What did he really think the outcome would be shooting in a club full of people. In the end its every man for themselves. What was diddy supose to do go down with him? Diddy didn't shoot nobody.
