  • FOXY WAS BANGIN!.. DO YA THANG FOX THE GAME NEEDS YOU MA!!
  • Ques.. Where would hip hop be without Def Jam?

    Ans.. IT WOULD BE DISCO!!!

Can I put it on my T-shirt? I love it!!
    • dead or so greatly faded that it would'nt be called hip hop. Russell saved it, and helped it to become the world wide music/marketing tool it has become.

the issue is mindset. queens folks were more affluent, and used to being owners rather than renters. this mindset opens one up to the thought that one can have more than being had. i, am one of the bronx mcs who have lived the evolution of hip hop.

i, started with kool herc, because i was introduced to him by the n*gger twins in 1975. i, was one of the first artists featured on the mr magic rap attack in 1981. i, spent countless hours @ the original def jam office on 26th st(nyc), getting on russell's nerves.

my thought is kudos to all of those who have made contributions to the growth of hip hop from it's birth, and to not belittle anyones contribution unless it is overly negative. peace luv n "GOD" bless u n yorz, in jesus name, amen, "LEE LOVE"
