The man who put X-Men on the movie map wants to make a few more mutant films. Bryan Singer directed X-Men and X2: X-Men United before passing the baton to Brett Ratner for X-Men: The Last Stand in order to make the less-than-super Superman Returns.
Now Singer is talking to 20th Century Fox about returning to the X-Men franchise, he said during a panel at South Korea’s Pusan International Film Festival. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Singer is keen on making more X-Men movies because quality sci-fi stories explore “the human condition.”
Singer also expressed his fondness for Hugh Jackman, star of last spring’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
