This story hit home. Every youth problem is our problem. I pray God rises up this young woman to overcome this horrible event. She will walk with victory in her life. This tragedy must send a message to all people in our society right now! Something has to stop, our kids are being sent to the slaughter to die from bullets or violence. The idea of “no snitching” is the worst form of self hate and oppression in many communities (especially urban communities that are targeted by illegal economies and terrorists). This incident has to stop, I agree with family. We have to protect our youth and children ,we have to find out ways that will work. We must support the local law enforcement, social agencies and faith based institutions that want to help us. When we see children and youth acting up in the streets, we need to start correcting them again. Divided we fall. I am glad we are keeping keeping the spotlight on this tragedy, I stand with the family, we must not let this happen AGAIN!

I hope all is well with the survivor....WE WILL NOT FORGET!!!!

I hope the state of CA changes their crap innocent bystander law in honor of this girl. I don't care if she's 15 or 35, any person barbaric enough to watch a girl get gang raped deserves a harsher sentence than the rapists themselves. Even if somebody was scared to be the one to cry for help, that is a lame excuse and they deserve to do time. All they had to do was laugh and pretend to be taking picture messages for fun and could have texted a friend or relative WITH evidence to call 911. Every last person involved should have had their picture taken.

I thank God for the strength of this family and pray for the young ladies recovery. I just hope something good comes from this, and people start taking an interest in their childrens education and schools. And I also pray for the young men involved in this in hopes that their hearts and minds are changed by what they put that young lady and her family through as well as themselves,
