Overnight, the homey Elucid hit me with the artwork for The Sub Bass Diet (Adventures in Lower Level Frequencies and High Vibrations), which is finally dropping on November 10th. Original production coming from Metabeats, Brook D'Leau (of J*Davey), Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) & DN3, with some found sounds from producers like Loefah, Kode9, Joker and more. Artwork from treezynyc.I've had the privilege of sitting with this project for a bit, and its an ill journey through varying sounds. Elucid himself is already a channeler of leftfield vibes, just by the way he can flip and boucne his vox. Add to that the fact that dude is stringing together some sick lyrics, making you SEE what the f*ck he's going through (wait for "Bad Dreamz"), you'll see how paltry most MCs who rock over dubstep and other sounds really are. I'm fully expecting more producers and DJs picking up on his talent(s) after partaking in The Sub Bass Diet. Consider yourselves... WARNED!previous Elucid "Take Charge"
