After a summer hiatus, the legendary Vibe Magazine is back with a brand new EIC, a new philosophy and two new cover boys.
DRAKE will join CHRIS BROWN on a split cover for the comeback issue of the Urban Entertainment mag first started by Quincy Jones some fifteen years ago. After struggling financially and ultimately filing bankruptcy last spring, the mag shut its doors in June. But new life came with a new deal, the decision to put their online content first and bringing in Jermaine Hall to run the revived book.
“Here, Vibe.com is really the hub,” said Jermaine Hall, editor in chief of the new Vibe and Vibe.com. “That’s where everything needs to go back to. Whether it’s the magazine, or we decide to do some kind of TV programming down the line, everything needs to come back to Vibe.com.”
I’m excited. Are you?
