Kanye West has had a rough time since he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs back in September, but like most artists, when they hit a rough patch, they throw themselves into their art. That's what Kanye is doing.
According to DigitalSpy.com, West has been in the studio working on new material for his fifth studio album. Collaborator A-Trak says he straying from the limelight, but still working.
"Kanye's taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits," A-Trak told the Daily Star.
One collaborator that is expected to show up on the upcoming album is Soulja Boy. The young rapper revealed that the pair have been working together, via a recent interview with XXL. Soulja Boy says is "one of the greatest to do it."
"I produced some tracks [for him]," the rapper said. "We got in the studio like two weeks ago and just really just I think Kanye ... I work with a lot of artists but out of all of the artists I worked with I think that's the only artist that try to push my talent to the next level, like it wasn't easy working with him.
