It seems like Nasir Jones is going back to Nasty Nas on his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kelis. Not willing to have his pockets put on permanent Slim Fast, the Queensbridge MC is fighting for his cash. In the latest twist in the ongoing public saga that has become of the couple’s split, Nas is telling the singer to back the hell up off of his dead presidents and is attempting to cut off the cash flow to the singer.

According to Hip Hop Wired, a motion was recently filed on Monday by Nas’ lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, to block the ridiculous $72, 728 a month in spousal support that Kelis is seeking. The motion is asking that the payments be reduced to a cool ZERO BUCKS, as the singer was rumored to be signing a new record deal, not to mention Nas’ own financial troubles to the tune of owing $2.5 million in back taxes. The motion is also asking that Esco be granted 50-50 joint custody of their son, which would eliminate him having to pay child support for the boy.

In August Laura Wasser, Kelis’ attorney, filed a motion seeking the final proposed amount above which she based off the reported monthly income of Nasir stating that he made $240,000 a month. Along with that, she was also seeking $17,225 in child support monthly, $29, 522 in back child support and $281, 517 in retro spousal support.

But somehow, those seemingly reasonable numbers got put on steroids after the couple’s son, Knight, was born and Nas is refusing to pay the balloon payments. Originally, Nas was ordered to shell out $44,000 in child support along with a one-time payment of $45,000 which would go towards funding attorney fees and a forensic accountant.
