I went to a Ghostface Killah show a couple weeks ago that was pretty damn dope. I got there early before everyone, because you know I stay “V.I.P” with it. Ghost showed up with Cappadonna to do a sound check and the whole sh*t was kind of surreal. I never seen these n*ggaz in real life. He started his sound check with “Apollo Kids” then ran through a bunch of joints. I put my camera up to catch some of it, but then he turned to one of his goons and told dude, to tell me not to snap any flix. I was fine with that. Ghost is one n*gga i’ll show respect to. Hell, I was damn near getting my own private shows(||), how could I argue?

After the sound check Ghost, Cappa and his crew vanished behind the backstage curtain and me and some homies I met chopped it up about the show. My homie DJ GQ was supposed to DJ the show, but when Ghost rolled up, he had his own DJ who wasnt down with anyone spinning for his beloved Ghostface. You know how n*ggaz can get territorial. Maybe GQ would have been better, and took his spot on the road, on some Madden bus type sh*t. Dude guarded the DJ area with his life anytime Ghost appeared on stage to tweak some things about his stage show.

Me and this kid Gabriel(No Flawless Hustle) I met coming into the show, found a top secret piece of paper which had the show schedule and got extra excited when we found out the exact time that Ghost was coming on. By this time people were pouring in and GQ came to get me so I could take my rightful place on stage where Ghost was going to perform, so I could some ill pics. I decided to make this kid Gabe’s night and told GQ he was apart of my website even though he wasn’t, and dude almost fell out when he found out he was going to be on stage in spitting distance of Ghost. Were not dickheads over here at Flawless. What could I really lose by using my credentials of being a young fly fresh n*gga with a dope website to help some kid have a night he’ll never forget? Nothing. My karma is on another level right now for that move.

Of course Ghost was on some Superstar sh*t, so when GQ was about to dip to hit up another gig, he came and told me ghost got on his bus and left and wouldn’t be back until the show started. Sucked. We had to stand on the stage for a long f*ckin time waiting for this dude to return. The guy that was supposed to open for Ghost, Fashawn, was no where to be found. So GQ had to spin for a ridiculously long time while Ghost did whatever it was he was doing around Ft. Lauderdale.

While people were getting super restless waiting for the epic show Ghost was going to put on, a chick who rolled to the show with my homie Eric from “The Commision” clothing, jumped on stage and started dancing for everyone while GQ spun on the 1’s and 2’s. Chick was super bad and gave everyone a good f*ckin’ show while we waited. I was hoping she was going to get naked, at least take off her shirt or something but it never happened. It was cool that she even did that in front of so many people though. Check out the dudes face just left of the center speaker, he dug it more than anybody else in the place. Hot chicks can get away with anything.

You know I was parked right by the backstage curtain while I waited, so I could see Ghost once he came back in the venue. I kept checkin’ and finally saw Cappadonna and turned to Gabe and was like, “Oh sh*t, there’s Cappadonna.” He was like, “What? What?” and then BLAOW! Cappa runs on to the stage to his one and only hit song, “Run!”. I started snapping flix, but just got caught up in the moment and stopped to watch. Cappa went in for a while. If he was the only person to perform I would have been satisfied, because he was killing it. Gabe and I gave each other daps on some, “Yeah boooooooyyyyyyyy” Flava Flav type sh*t. We were hyped, then BLAOW! Ghost runs on the stage damn near knocking me over and started performing with hella energy.

He ran through song after song and killed it. People were buggin’. His whole entourage were his hype men, but he didn’t need it honestly. His energy was enough to fuel for ten men. This show was some next level sh*t. He performed everything you could have imagined. And dude was in some low key ass polo shirt and sweat pants. I was like damn, thats dope. He wasnt rockin’ anything ridiculous or over the top. he looked calm, cool, comfortable and confident.

After the show, we went back stage and I got to talked to Ghost, Cappa and his crew who were really cool. Dude’s were some Real n*ggaz in the truest sense of the phrase. I don’t say that because they treated me like I was a long time homie. I say that because they didnt put any extra’s on their position and status. They looked me in the eye, and didn’t act like I was some slime ball trying to pimp their fame for my own gain. They talked about regular sh*t and seemed like some everyday dudes who appreciated the fact they were living a life people dream of.

Back stage, Ghost signed everything and took pictures with everyone which was cool. He seemed aggy when he got off stage, but I’m sure he was just tired. This cute little asian chick, named Kim, tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to take a picture of her and Ghost. How could I say no? Do you see her? She’s the prettiest little thing I ever did sr. Cute, Petite, Fly; But has a boyfriend of course. Womp. I snapped the flick and we actually got to be cool even after the show which is dope.Thank god she wasn’t a snob. It never hurts to know fly young females because they have a way better out look on life than these other broads.

The whole night was cool. I got home at like 4:30am after stopping by a shorty’s house for some “Mclovin’” and had to turn around and wake up at 6:30. all good though, how often do you get to hang out with Ghost Killah and talk to him about everyday sh*t like he was your brother? Never if your you. And sometimes if your me. HA, I kid. But the experience was dope and made my life that much more better. Thanks Ghost!
