  • If anyone still would like to berate, hound and otherwise make Chris Brown’s life and career miserable because of an admitted “mistake” that he is currently paying the price for (for now and many years to come most likely), then they should spread the hate around then. And there’s plenty of spreading to do. If we are all supposed to hate on and boycott Chris Brown, then let’s add these other celebrities to the list also: r&b singer JOE; rapper DR. DRE; actor/singer TERRENCE HOWARD; actor/talent judge DAVID HASSELHOFF; actor CHRISTIAN BALE; singer PAUL MCCARTNEY; actor WESLEY SNIPES (beat actress Halle Berry); rapper TREACH (from Naughty by Nature beat “Pepa” from Salt N Pepa); musician TOMMY LEE; actor TOM SIZEMORE; actor BILL MURRAY; football player SEAN MERRIMAN; christian singer BEBE WINANS; “Soul Train” host DON CORNELIUS; “Girls Gone Wild” founder JOE FRANCIS; child actor GARY COLEMAN; singer AXL ROSE; basketball players DELONTE WEST & DENNIS RODMAN; singer BOBBY BROWN; singer TYRESE (accused of Punching Pregnant Girlfriend); singer JAMES BROWN; actor DARIUS MCCRARY (Eddie Winslow from “Family Matters”); singer SCOTT STAPP (Creed); sports announcer JIM LAMPLEY; baseball player DMITRI YOUNG and the list goes on & on & on…
  • Like I’ve said before, I am so very proud of both Chris Brown and Rihanna for speaking out on the heinous crime of domestic violence – no matter the why’s, how’s and when’s of it all. We VERY RARELY get to hear from the abuser concerning his (or her) contribution to the “incident”, how he feels about it, his remorse, his conviction of the crime, and his pennance to right the wrongs. What’s even better here in the Chris Brown / Rihanna saga is that we also get to see the transgressor (Chris Brown) redeem himself in a VERY public fashion by pleading for forgiveness (over & over & over…) and the opportunity for redemption. I can’t EVER remember a celebrity who has done such a wrong and then has humbly, vulnerably, and sacrificially put all that he has/is at the feet of the pitchforked and heavily opinionated, fickle public. And he’s doing it all at just 20 years old. This young man really is a MAN – who had a moment! And now he’s coming back to himself – renewed and retooled. As long as he continues to show and prove (and not continually apologize) his willingness and ability to change, learn and grow from the “incident”, then he will have my $15 on 12/08/09 and my continued support and prayers (and Rihanna too!).

  • Just to clarify... Im not saying that CBrown should not be forgiven, I do believe that ppl can change, and at the end of the day, you can't change the past, you can only modify your future. But it seems like he is doing what is told of him by his PR team and has not grasped the magnitude of the situation or really reflected on the ys and the hows of the situation, or really sought out help for his own emotional and mental well being. And I get that in a situation like this, u just want it to go away, but slappin' tape on something and calling it fixed is like lighting the fuse to a bomb and saying it's not going to explode. Now there are far worse things in this World besides CBrown beating down Rihanna, but this is a common occurance in soo many parts of the world and the fact that it has been publicized gives us a chance as Americans, Black Ppl and as humans to set a precedent in what to do, or actually, what not to do in situations as these.
  • It really baffles me how people can blame the victim in a situation such as this. Domestic Violence is not a 2 way street!!!! Point Blank, it's not. Any relationship whether it's a romantic 1, a platonic 1 or a familial 1 has different elements, 1 of which is always a power struggle. In a situation where some1 is testing you, challenging you, or simply dismissing you, there will always be that (potentially volatile) tug of war, in which we all want to end up with the rope. So, yes rltionshps are a 2 way street. In this sit, no, we don't know what happened, only the 2 ppl in the car and God have that knowledge. 1st, biologically speaking, a typical man has more physical force than the average woman,(more muscle mass than fat). So n e hit/slap/punch delivered by him would do drastically more damage than she could do to him (with power comes responsibility). 2ndly, the fact that they were both raised in homes where DV was prevalent makes them susceptible to be batterers themselves. 3rd, using violence as a means of controlling a situation or in this case a person, is never right....man, woman, child, their is no justification for it. As I stated earlier relationships demand equal participation from both parties, which means Im sure Rihanna did her share of dirt, but she was the one looking like Emmett Till.... not him, which means he, by himself, administered blow after blow until she was a bloody mess.
  • Why didn't anyone ask her about her violent past? Ask her if she really hit her brother over the head with a vase requiring him to get stiches. Ask her if she remembers destroying any of Chris' property (TV's). Ask her how many times she hit him. Then ask her why she didn't mention any of that while throwing her ex under the bus. I don't excuse what he did but it's blatantly obvious that she isn't telling the whole story while she claims to be "shedding light" on the situation. And the funny thing is CB still won't bust her out even after all of this. I don't think anyone has the right to judge him or her being that we are ALL ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN. And a calculated attack would mean that he planned to beat her which I am almost certain was not the case. Domestic Violence is a two way street and it needs to be looked at as such.
  • I do not condone abusive coming from a man or a woman, but for rihanna to make it like she never did anything wrong in the relationship that she and chris had shared is crazy. She is clearly the aggressor in the relationship. Yes, Chris was wrong for bustin her up but I can bet she done alot in their relationship to where it boiled down to the ending result. Rihanna stop playing like you some angel!!!!!
  • Rihanna is a LIAR. I lost all respect when she lied. ALL
    • and I lost respect for her for wearing a white turtle neck when she been nasty everywere else.
  • Im tired of this b*tch, and disappointed with Chris Brown!
  • I LOVE U RIHANNA!! HATERZ WILL ALWAYS HATE, JUST IGNORE THEM TIL THEY FADE AWAY....
  • I am definitely buying Rihanna's new cd. Damn we were mad at old girl because she wasn't talking. But...POW just like that Ms. Sunshine is back!
  • I Dont usually make comments but I seriously hope all of these STUPID!!! comments are coming from teenage-girls who dont have COMMON SENSE!!!! just because u irk someone cause THEY CHEATED on u doest mean and I REPEAT...IT DOESNT mean they can bite you..put u in a headlocked and swole ur face LADIES WE GOT TO DO BETTA....i mean they is no acceptance for getting mad and beatin someone WE GOTS TO DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I really despise rihanna after this interview. Can u say da word FAKE!! She sat up there on her pedastel with her head held high n basically blamed everything on Chris Brown. B.S. She hit him n he beat her Ass, basically! They were both in da wrong! Who r all these perfect ppl that r so quick 2 condemn Chris Breezy???? Next time Chris holla at ur girl, I woulda whipped her ass 4 u!!Fake herpie spreadin contagious b*tch!! dat's dat deal RIRI!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • WOW..R.I.P RIHANNA'S CAREER. C were "acting" got you!
  • Rihanna isnt made that he beat her up and made her face look like that because she know she hit the boy that night and before that night on a regular basis. She is hurt over that text because he was cheating on her thats why she is still mad. She she said that everything he did bugged her when he was around her. anybody that has every been cheated on you know you even stand to look at that person. But as far has him hitting her she acting like she is so shock when the fought all the time, but he never hit her it was always her. That 19yr old boy was provoked. He should of controlled his temper or called the cops on her but we all know when you in the heat of the moment bad things happens and look at there aga 19 and 20. I cant beleive she said even if I did hit him he shouldnt hit me back. what type of role model are you. you telling young girls if you hit a boy a million times he cant hit you back. That promoting violence, she is a liar.
