Michael Jackson's "This Is It" album debuts at # 1 on the Billboard 200 with 373,000 copies sold making it the fifth best sales week for an album in the U.S. this year. This is Jackson's sixth No. 1 album. Other artists who albums debuted in the Top 10 this week are Creed at # 2 with "Full Circle", Rod Stewart at # 4 with "Soulbook", Sting at # 6 with" If On A Winter Night" and Trans- Siberia Orchestra at # 5 with "Night Castle". The number # 1 single on the Top 100 is "What Cha Say" by Jason DeRulo. The biggest jump this week was Lady Gaga at # 9 with "Bad Romance".
On the Hip Hop and R& B charts, Maxwell carries then # 1 spot on the singles chart with "Broken Wings" and the # 1 Hip Hop and R & B album is Michael Jackson's "This Is It".
On the Country charts, The Zac Brown Band has the # 1 single with "Toes" and the # 1 Country album is "Fearless" by Taylor Swift.
Michael Jackson's "This Is It" also has the number # 1 spot on the Soundtracks chart. "This Is It" is also #1 on the European and Canadian charts. Number# 1 on the Catalog chart is Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" album.
